Post-Abortive Healing

Forgiveness Freedom Redemption

There is hope.

There is healing.

There is redemption in Christ.

Why Post-Abortive Healing?
-1 in 4 people in the church—men and women—have participated in at least one abortion.
-70% of people who have an abortion indicate that they are Christians at the time of abortion.
-There were approximately 37,900 abortions in Georgia in 2025, with about 5,100 of those patients traveling into the state from other areas to receive care. Approximately 83% of abortions in the state are medication abortions.
-For women in Recovery, studies have identified a correlation between abortion history and higher rates of substance use disorders.
-For men who have agreed to abort a child, a significant percentage report turning to substance abuse or unhealthy behaviors to numb unresolved grief or trauma.

You Are Not Beyond God's Grace

Whether you are a woman or man carrying the pain, regret, grief, or silence of a post abortion decision, there is hope in Jesus Christ. God sees your heart, knows your story, and offers healing, forgiveness, and restoration.

God Redeems What Was Broken

No decision from your past is too great for the redeeming power of Christ. Jesus came not to condemn the world, but to save it. Through Him, your story can become one of grace, healing, compassion, and renewed purpose.

Healing for Men Too

Men often carry silent pain after abortion — grief, anger, regret, helplessness, or spiritual distance. God’s healing and redemption are available for you as well. You are not forgotten, and your pain matters.

God's Promise

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

— Matthew 11:28

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

— 1 John 1:9

Grace for Every Heart

God’s love reaches into the deepest places of pain and silence. No matter how long you have carried this burden, His arms are open. You are seen. You are loved. You are worthy of healing.

Healing Is Possible

• Freedom from shame, guilt, and secrecy

• Healing from grief, trauma, and brokenness

• Restoration in your relationship with God

• Peace through the love and mercy of Jesus Christ

• A safe place to process your story without condemnation

A Simple Prayer

Jesus, I bring You my pain, regret, grief, and shame. I ask for Your forgiveness and healing. Help me receive Your grace and walk in freedom. Restore my heart and remind me that I am loved and redeemed through You. Amen.
