November 5th. Abiding in Prayer. John 15:5 (NIV) “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
Lord Holy Spirit, we invite you to pray through us on this day. We recognize according to John 15:5, that apart
from Jesus and your Spirit, we can do nothing. We pray that every student, faculty member, and staff member as well as the church universal may find their source of strength, wisdom in you, Lord. May we deeply abide in your presence, drawing our sustenance from the life-giving vine, who is Jesus Christ. Lord, grant grace to the College of Athens leadership, faculty and staff as they lead by example. May we learn the power of abiding in you and experience the transformative work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Use this college as a catalyst for deepening our faith and understanding of your love.
