November 7th. CoA Faculty. Titus 2:1 (NIV) “You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.”

Father, we thank You today for the mercy and miracle of Your Word. May it continuously be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. We are blessed by Your teachings, Lord, and by the ways in which You guide us and direct us into greater Christlikeness. We realize that Your Scripture is living and “breathed out” from Your very heart, sharper than any two-edged sword and useful “for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in all righteousness.” We lift up the College of Athens’ Faculty, who are tasked with unfailingly teaching Your Word and “what is appropriate to sound doctrine.” This is no easy task, Father, but rather one of great privilege and importance. We pray that the unceasing wisdom and discernment of Your Holy Spirit will go before all CoA Faculty members, providing illumination, clarity, and faithfulness in all things. We ask that while they faithfully build up their students, that You continuously nourish them and fill them up with the hope of Your promises as found in Scripture. Protect them, strengthen them, and guard them in Your truth. We ask all of this in the Precious Name of Christ—Your Son, the very Word made flesh, Amen.
