November 4th. CoA Mission. Ephesians 4:12-13 (NIV) “to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
Father God, we come before you today with hearts full of gratitude as we lift up the College of Athens (CoA), a place where lives are being transformed, and destinies are being shaped in accordance with your divine plan. We thank you for the mission of this college, which is to “prepare and restore men and women who will teach, reach, lead, and minister to others out of their identity in Christ.” According to Ephesians 4:12-13, we pray that College of Athens may continue to be a place where students are equipped and empowered to serve and minister in a manner that reflects the fullness of Christ. We also pray for the students of CoA, that they may be filled with a deep and abiding faith in you, Lord, and that they may grow in their knowledge of your Son, Jesus Christ. May they be rooted and established in the Word of God and filled with the Holy Spirit’s power. We lift up the faculty and staff of CoA, asking for wisdom, discernment, and a heart filled with love as they guide and mentor these students on their journey of faith and leadership. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
