November 23rd. Every Good Thing. James 1:17 (NIV) “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Lord, we praise Your wondrous name, and in gratitude we come to you today. All the good that we have and all the good that we are come from You—provided to Your children through your bountiful mercies and Your unending grace. Thank You for the gift of Your salvation through Your Son, through whom and for whom all things were made. Thank You that You provided us a means of restored and renewed relationship with You, and with each other. Thank You that you have given us the means and the message to spread Your love to all peoples everywhere. Thank You that we may gather together in Your name, and may we never lose sight or forsake the blessings of fellowship with You and with our brothers and sisters in the power of that holy name. Thank You that the College of Athens can work to advance Your kingdom here in our local community. Thank You that we may be a blessing to our students, faculty, staff, and our supporters. Thank You that we can bring You all the glory! In the finished work of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, Thank You, Lord!
