November 3rd. God’s Harvest. Luke 10:2 (NIV) “He told them, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.’”
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, thanking You for the promises we have already seen—that Your Kingdom is coming, and that through Christ, entrance into that heavenly kingdom has been opened to all who believe and call on His name. Thank you that we can rest in the full and safe assurance that Your will is being done even now, Father, in a world that cries out with the need for You. Thank You that we can also rest in the peaceful knowledge that You will provide more workers for Your kingdom harvest. We ask that You send those now—that You send all of us, in whatever ways you have called and equipped us. We ask that the College of Athens be ever ready and willing to do our part in raising up fellow-workers. Please clear the way to allow us to lovingly plant and water amongst all the world, that You may grow and gather Your children into Your presence. In Christ’s Precious Name, Amen.
