November 19th. God’s Wisdom. James 1:5 (NIV) “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
Heavenly Father, we humbly approach Your throne, seeking Your wisdom that surpasses all understanding. In accordance with James 1:5, we acknowledge our need for Your guidance and ask You for wisdom for the body of Christ in how best to reach the lost and make disciples in our generation. We specifically lift up the community at the College of Athens. For the staff and faculty, pour out your discernment upon us. For the students, may the pursuit of knowledge be intertwined with the pursuit of wisdom from above. Let the halls of CoA be filled with a spirit of humility, acknowledging that true wisdom emanates from You, the source of all knowledge. Lord, we trust in your promise that You give generously to all who ask without finding fault. May the quest for wisdom be a unifying force within the body of Christ drawing us closer to You and each other as we navigate our daily relationships. Guide us in Your ways for the advancement of your kingdom. In your Son’s Name, Jesus Christ (Yeshua Hamashiach), Amen.
