To be a biblically-grounded, Holy Spirit-empowered, accredited Christian college that prepares men and women who will teach, reach, lead, and minister to others out of their identity in Christ through relational, hands-on training for life and leadership in the church, in the marketplace, and across the globe.
CoA seeks to equip faithful men and women for ministry and Christian leadership by teaching spiritual truths, imparting biblical knowledge, and providing practical ministry opportunities through degree and non-degree programs.
CoA programs are designed and integrated with building students’ relationships at the core—relationships with God, with the school community, and within the context of Christian service opportunities.
The College of Athens has purchased a 114-acre property on Barnett Shoals Road, located on the old Green Hills Golf Course and Country Club property. Our vision is for that property to become our new campus for the college and for it to be a place where our students, staff and faculty will be equipped and empowered to both encounter and serve the Lord. Our hope is to also utilize the property as a recreation and retreat center to serve and bless the church and the community of the greater Athens area.
