Tim is a native of Lexington, Georgia. He graduated from Emmanuel College and went on to Erskine Theological Seminary, where he earned a master of Divinity. Soon, his love of learning brought him to the University of Georgia, where he received his master’s degree in Student Affairs and Counseling and a doctorate in Adult Education. Later, Tim attended the University of Illinois/ Springfield and Austin Peay University for Post Graduate work in Philosophy. Tim has worked at Emmanuel College, Virginia Highlands Community College, Northeast State Community College, and Chattahoochee Valley Community College as both an administrator and instructor and served as an instructor for Liberty University, Virginia Intermont College, Tiffin University, and Grand Canyon University. Tim’s areas of academic interest are Scottish Enlightenment Philosophy, Christian Apologetics, and Virtue Leadership. Tim lives in Northeast, Ga, with his wife, Dr. Rebecca Harrison, and their Airedale, Katie Lou.
