Ms. Gomes received her BA in Sociology and Religion from Anderson University, IN. After college she worked at a mission school in Grand Cayman, B.W.I. for two years then moved to Florida where she gained her MLIS degree from the University of South Florida, Tampa. Diane has a total of 25 years of library experience including public elementary, middle and high schools, tech school, college and university and a library at a Naval Submarine base.
Recognizing the diversity within the Christian faith, she has been a member of several different denominations and groups where she experienced a variety of worship expressions from “high church” Anglican, to the Quaker Meeting, and others.
Diane has three grown children, and five grandchildren.
