Michael Rasmussen, PHD

Mike is Vice President for North American Ministry & Professor of Biblical Studies for HopeRussia, a theological seminary and church planting partnership based in St. Petersburg, Russia.  His PhD is in Old Testament from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He is the author of  Conceptualizing Distress in the Psalms. Mike has planted two churches.  He and his wife, Renatta, have two adult sons and two granddaughters.   Besides babysitting his granddaughters, Mike likes to ski in Colorado, play jazz guitar and work out (and make new friends) at the gym.
