November 18th. Prison Programs. Matthew 25:36 (NIV) “I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the promise of the harvest of your kingdom and the invitation to take part in it. Thank you for the harvest field of Hancock State Prison that you have given us to steward. In Matthew 25:36, you teach us to visit those in prison. May Your Spirit fill and empower the professors to communicate your truth and grace to the prisoners. May your Spirit and presence be palpable to each student there. Grant the students in prison the grace to learn and grasp new concepts and study skills. As they study, may their lives be transformed from the inside out. Father, we thank you for all the provision, favor, open doors, and divine connections needed for the prison programs to grow and flourish. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
