Summer 2025

Course Offerings

Course Formats. CoA offers in-person, blended, virtual, and online classes. Traditional summer classes are 12 weeks long. Fall and spring classes cover 15 weeks. We also offer 8-week classes during these semesters (check with an advisor for the dates).

Check the schedule below to select the type of class meeting that best suits your schedule and geographic location.

  • Online Class. These asynchronous classes do not have regular meeting times; however, all online CoA courses have 2 hours of required live videoconference meeting times for each credit hour. The instructor will poll all enrolled students for their availability to schedule the virtual course meeting times.
  • Videoconference Class.  These virtual classes meet by live, synchronous videoconference. Students are expected to attend classes virtually at the regularly scheduled times.
  • Blended Class. Most CoA courses can be taken virtually by students who do not live locally.  Contact your Academic Advisor for more information about attending a “blended” class.
  • 8-WEEK CLASSES. Our 8-week classes allow students to immerse themselves in the same material as the traditional 15-week class semester but in a shorter span of time. All of the same assignments and time required of a 15-week class is moved into 8 weeks, and the same number of credits is awarded for successful completion.
