Worship Arts Major

The Worship Arts major curriculum is designed for those seeking greater leadership in the area of musical worship in a Christian or non-Christian setting, that can provide career opportunities as a worship pastor, musician, music teacher, sound engineer and/or AV tech.

Certificate in Worship Arts

The Certificate Program is designed for individuals with strong musical skills who are seeking the biblical foundation needed to minister well to the LORD and to the other individuals in their spheres of influence or on their worship teams.

Associate of Arts in Christian Ministry with a major in Worship Arts

An Associate’s Degree with a major in Worship Arts will provide students with: general education credits needed towards a Bachelor’s Degree (e.g. mathematics, science, humanities, etc.); a strong biblical worldview; and beginning level musical and leadership skills for leading worship in a Christian setting.

Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry with a major in Worship Arts

Students who major in Worship Arts at the Bachelor’s level will develop strong biblical, leadership, and musical skills. They will gain understanding and experience with the integration of visual media into worship. Their programs will include a significant apprenticeship experience with leading worship and they may qualify for ordination in many denominations.

Master's Certificate in Worship Arts

The Master’s Certificate is a perfect way to help those already gifted musically with a strong biblical and leadership foundation for leading worship teams. The MCCM can also serve to deepen the worship leader’s personal walk with the LORD and learn how to effectively disciple the teams entrusted to them.

Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry with a major in Worship Arts

Master of Divinity with a major in Worship Arts will:
-prepare students with a strong theological foundation for the pragmatic aspects of leadership in the church or other types of ministry settings;
-provide students for effective leadership across a broad range of ministry areas;
-equip students with a solid specialization in the area of Worship Arts;
-qualify students for admission to doctorate-level studies such as a DMin or Ph.D.; and
-make students eligible for ordination in most denominations.
